Mockingbird Valley is one of the first success stories for GASTROGARD (omeprazole). She began to show signs of poor appetite and she was not training well. Trainer Peter Salmen entered her into the GREAT program, the first national equine ulcer screening program. Scoping revealed ulcers and she was placed on GASTROGARD.

The results were astonishing. Her ulcers healed quickly, with one daily dose. She continues to improve on a daily basis, and she has remained on the maintenance dose for at least a month.

Since taking GASTROGARD, Mockingbird Valley's performance has been notably better. According to Mr. Selman, she has achieved second place in a recent competition, a true indication of her improvement.
