Merial continued to support the effortsof veterinarians to improve equine health in their practices by providing the important programs and materials described below. Our goal is to help increase awareness and improve treatment of equine gastric ulcers.

Once again D. Wayne Lukas, trainer of 13 Triple Crown event champions and 14 Breeders Cup winners, provided GASTRPOGARD with a strong endorsement. Lukas explains healing equine ulcers with GASTROGARD helps to get horses into top shape and may mean a better shot at getting to the winner's circle.

Another ad highlighted the importance of GASTROGARD in the health of foals. This ad tells how 57% of foals have ulcers, and how one ulcer can spoil a bright future.

Nona Garson, winner of the 1999 International Grand Prix was featured in our third ad. She tells how Rhythmical, her exceptional Russian Warmblood, began losing stamina in competition. Garson says that after treatment with GASTROGARD, Rhythmical is back on form and flying high at Grand Prix events around the world.
